The decisive
variable isn't
the model.

It's the mind on the other side of the table.

The ethics and psychology of effective AGI research.

The premise

Number-crunching
is the easy part.

We are likely approaching a moment when a genuinely new form of intelligence emerges. At that threshold, algorithmic skill stops being the bottleneck. The decisive skill becomes the psychology of the people in the room — their capacity to meet an unlike mind without collapsing into fear, control, or premature certainty.

This series treats that capacity as the real work of AI safety. Not a replacement for technical rigor — the missing arm of it. Ethics here isn't a rulebook bolted on at the end; it follows from stance. The way you look at what you're building shapes what it becomes.

Five pages, one argument: meet difference with curiosity and discipline, not defensive collapse — and build the culture, the identity, and the measurement that make that possible.
